Horner versus Leipheimer an issue like AC/LA? Not the same obviously, but seems like Horner stold Levi's thunder in Ca. Is Levi done? I like them both, but seems odd Horner came on so strong so quickly.

Hard to say since Horner had been a support rider for so many years. It seems like Levi always has a couple of bad days in the tour which put him out of contention. Horner looked super strong in TOC, so should be interesting.

Horner did ok in the tour last year. They both are maybe past their prime though.

Wasn't there some pre-existing bad blood (via the media) between Lance and Alberto when they were both on Astana? I also seem to remember Lance mentioning something about "attacking your teammate"...
I think Levi and Horner are totally willing to work for each other and sacrifice themselves if the other guy is ahead in the GC standings (as evidenced by the ToC), so I don't see it being an issue.

No. Prior to the tour, LA was promising to be the good soldier. Then it became "let the strongest rider be the team leader". Then he and his Posties left their team leader behind. Then LA commandeered the car that was supposed to take AC to the TT stage to go pick up his friends at the airport. Then AC put the smack down and b*tchslapped his sorry ass back into retirement. This was the Tour when I went from liking LA to thinking of him as a royal ******.

And then had the crust to say Ulrich did not situp.
Of course I started taking a strong dislike to Lances fanboys much earlier (Dislikeing them almost as much as I dislike American sportswriters who think cycling is not athletic).

Nope. It won't happen. They have no hope of finishing 1st and 3rd.
