A. 1. Contador 2. Schleck 3. Gesink (I'll be rooting for Evans to get 3rd.) for the podium.

B. Cavendish for green. HTC could really control those intermediate sprints if they put their mind to it. The big question: How much does Cav really want it?

C. Cunego

In my opinion Cavendish wont get the green. The intermediate sprints will kill him big time and probably to his team as well because to be able to win those sprints in the middle of the stage u have to have the race under control all the time. The bad thing is that Cav doesn't climb at all, he is not even that big if you ask me, and if he is going to another team next season probably he wont give a darn for this year TdF.

What would be just nuts is if AC wins those points and technically he is the green guy this year as well. They should get the mixed jersey again.

Say what you want, here's my picks.
A. Schleck, Wiggins, Van den Broeck
B. Ferrar (Although I would rather see Hushovd win the green)
C. Schleck (Frank that is) I think he will be attacking for his brother all tour)

I'm sure there will be a lot of doubt out there, we will see what happens.

A) Contador, A. Schleck, Evans
B) Farrar, Hushovd, Boonen (no Cavendish on my list this year)
C) Gesink, Contador, A. Schleck

Fingers crossed that injuries don't play a part this year. We've seen enough of that.

A) Schleck (Andy), Contador, Van der Broeck (but with a watchful eye on Sanchez, Evans and Gesink - sorry I just can't see Wiggins doing it again)
B) Cav - neh to all who think he doesn't care - Zabel is telling him he cares and he does
C) tough to call but ... Sammy Sanchez

Switch the order on A to Contador, Schleck, Van der Broeck, and I like your predictions.

podium: contador, kreuziger, leipheimer

green jersey: hushovd

kom: lots of candidates and will likely outstrip the green jersey competition.
the names egoi martinez, david arroyo, john gadret, luis leon sanchez
and jurgen van der broeck come to mind as does sylvester szmyd if
basso falters early on and szmyd rides for himself. as another forum
member did, gonna pick gadret.

predictions aside...i like this year's route/makeup. early ttt. lumpy and windy first week potentially spicing up a traditionally
boring week for the gc. stages 8 & 9 in the scenic and under appreciated massif central. the sufferfest on stage 14
in the pyrenees. Stage 16 heading to gap strikes me as a particularly suited stage for someone to climb (back) into
gc contention before the last week. the summit finish on the galibier stage 18 will be especially interesting since it
is always a transitional pass instead of the main course and comes at the end of a verrry long day. should be a blast!

I do like the fact that they put in a TTT this year and I think the route looks good. A few years ago they did a route that seemed too technical. This year's route looks like it's made for speed.

This is not as crazy as you think. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't at least wear the green at some point, maybe even after day one.

My hope is that the early TTT will put Contidor a ways back and that he reacts like Merckx instead of like Lance. It could be someones chance to have the kind of exploit that gets them mentioned with Merckx, Hinault and Coppi.

Oh, i'm sure he'll be wearing yellow and green after stage one.
Like I wrote, my guess is he'll dominate the first week, and maybe he will have enough points to keep the green.

I didn't think Petacchi was going to be in it this year from something that I read Peloton magazine? I was kind of bummed after reading that.
