Too far out. They think they can take him on the Galibier.

The Schlecks are insufferable as it is. If one of them gets into yellow, it will be sickening

Agreed they are both whiny and insufferable at times (especially Andy) but at least one of them has actually done something. Finally, Andy is actually backing up all the words with action, it may not pay off but this is much better and more exciting than a 10 second non-attack + immediate sit up and look around. As much as I dislike Andy on a personal level, a truly exciting stage is worth seeing him in yellow imo

Wow, increasing the gap going into a headwind, great effort and teamwork by Monfort. What is the peloton waiting for?

Correct, Monfort was pushing hard to try to drop Andy and the rest of the breakaway so he could win the stage for himself. No teamwork at all, it's every man for himself out there.

They may have let him get to far out. Unless he blows up, its hard to see Andy getting reeled back in with a 3+ minute lead.

Phil just said that AC has to save his reputation, and past performances,by doing something here, i.e. doping infractions?

The chase group is now 4 minutes back and are "messing about".

This is immensely entertaining.

Almost too late now. Somebody - Evans or Contador - needs to go soon or they have a problem.

I can't wait for the post race interviews. Cadel is going to have a coronary describing how nobody would help him. I hope LeLange has some cheese to go with the oncoming whine from Cadel.
