I want to see that, Spaniards don't like to come to the US and I don't see how they will make him come anyways. This I would love to see.

That race overlaps with the Vuelta. I think Contador will only race if he loses the Tour, otherwise he will go for the triple.

Agreed, if he's allowed to race at all. I'm not sure if I'd rather see him do the triple or see him ride literally past my house.

Alberto Contador is not coming to America.

Not yet anyway.

First, the Vuelta starts on the 20th August and if Alberto is eligible to ride in both races there is no way he is going to miss the Vuelta for the sake of riding in the U.S.

Second, the official website of the US Pro Cycling Challenge makes no mention of Contador riding only that the team of AC will participate.

Lux, well u are in europe but seriously, due for foreign policies and because in the news over there they love to show american people killing to each every single day spaniards dont like the US, in a matter of fact is better for an american to put a canadian flag in his back pack while there. Have several friends there and they refuse to come even tho is cheaper to vacation here now than in europe, so u go figure Just small town people (respectfully.) So i really dont see this guy coming to the US any day soon, well "ever".

The bad feeling goes back over 100 years.

Yeah - and America isn't being hostile to Lybians (Obama's "depends on what your definition of is is") but given that all Americans loathe Africans. Right?

Point being ... oh sorry I gave up "the obvious" as my New Year's Resolution and I'm still in the game ...

All Spaniards don't dislike the US. Contador is ONE GUY - not a country. Jeez. For a country that is so politically correct on the LEFT and so NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT on the RIGHT - how can anyone make such a block headed - big city people - type comment of shear stupidity?

They Are Coming to America

Far
We've been travelling far
Without a home
But not without a star

Free
Only want to be free
We huddle close
Hang on to a dream

On the boats and on the planes
They're coming to America
Never looking back again
They're coming to America

Home, don't it seem so far away
Oh, we're travelling light today
In the eye of the storm
In the eye of the storm

Home, to a new and a shiny place
Make our bed, and we'll say our grace
Freedom's light burning warm
Freedom's light burning warm

Everywhere around the world
They're coming to America
Every time that flag's unfurled
They're coming to America

Got a dream to take them there
They're coming to America
Got a dream they've come to share
They're coming to America

They're coming to America
They're coming to America
They're coming to America
They're coming to America
Today, today, today, today, today

My country 'tis of thee
(Today)
Sweet land of liberty
(today)
Of thee I sing
(today)
Of thee I sing

Yo no creo que todos los Espanoles odian a los Estados Unidos, solo alguno de ellos.

I don't think all Spaniards hate the US, just some of them.

For whatever it is worth, America is still THE place to come to.
