Versus / NBC All Access issues

Anyone having issues with the stage replays for NBC all access?
I've been trying to watch today's replay and can only get about 10 minutes into it before it starts locking up. It buffers for a long time, then eventually says it can't load the video and to retry later.

All of the other videos on the site seem to work fine, including other stage replays.

Kind of annoying, because I really wanted to watch todays stage...

Same with me. So frustrating. It's worked well up until tonight.

It seems to be working fine this morning.
Hopefully this isn't how it's going to go for other big stages, as I'm sure it was a demand issue. Long stage (5+ hours of video) plus everyone probably watching as soon as they got home from work...

If so, there's going to be a lot of unhappy customers. I'm already a little mad that they don't post the full replay until many hours after the race has ended.

stage twelve finally kicked in late last night and finished watching it this morning. stage 13 still isn't working, though, and its already 2:30 pacific. have a feeling it won't be up until tomorrow again. it's so hard to avoid TDF news while waiting for this...
and yes, i'm clearly underemployed...

Stage 13 was working on the Ipad by 12:30 eastern time today. So 2:30 pacific time, the race might not have been over yet.

it worked finally, but in case anybody else is having problems today, i had to start it near the middle using the slider, for lack of a better word, and it worked pretty well until the end. it was a nice surprise!! although i think tomorrow (saturday) will be even more entertaining!

Just noticed that the Android app is now $5 (down from the $15 last week). Does this app have the ability to watch previous complete stages, or is it only live streaming + brief clips?

Don't know about the android app, but if it is like the iPad, it has video on demand. It opens them in a browser window. You can go back and forth through the entire stage and it has all of the stages up now.

Now that it works, I really love it. And I only spent 5 bucks too.

I have both the online and iphone versions. Online buffers a lot but always recovers. The iPhone works good especially when I'm out and just want to catch a few minutes. Cheers.

Is there a button somewhere in the app to access the video on demand? Where is that?

On the iPad version it's on the video tab right under full stage streams.

I got an e-mail from NBC that said there was a hardware failure, so access was limited (to stage 12).
Still doesn't explain all the other issues I've been having.

Same here.... at about 4:08 of the video just after Cadel starts it starts to skip ahead. Could there be a worse time to fail???

Yeah, same here

Cadel leaves the starting gate, then it freezes for a second, then it skips ahead to a couple of seconds of Pierre Rolland, then a few seconds of a split screen with Andy and Cadel, then several minutes of a freeze frame of Andy's face, then the interviews with the winners. Huge fail! I just clicked on "help" and sent them a nasty message. This is pretty much the equivalent of skipping the last inning of game seven of a tied world series and just cutting straight to the commentators talking about who won. Seriously unhappy.

Exactly. Fortunately about four hours later the Stage 20 coverage did include the last part of the timetrial. But by then the little info posts had told me the results. (I too clicked on help but it just kicked me back to the video... I suspect "help" got a lot of business for a few hours.)
