Found a contest here: https://www.fantasycyclingplanet.com/predictthepodium/

This will be Lombardia's last year as the last big race of the season. They're moving it closer to the Worlds next year: https://www.velonation.com/News/ID/10...r-in-2012.aspx

I'd love to see Dan Martin win it, but realistically Gilbert is the most likely victor.

Uran would be awesome. Or Samuel Sanchez, he's been good in this race before but has yet to win. Anyone other than Gilbert would be pretty cool, his dominance is getting boring. Shame that toughest climbs come early in the race, I hope Euskaltel, Katusha, perhaps Garmin will still make it difficult for Phil- especially that it seems his team isn't very supportive these days.

It's awful that they're moving Lombardy, I think next year I'll watch it and pretend Tour of Beijing doesn't exist- it certainly doesn't deserve to end the WorldTour. And it's especially terrible when I think about all the Italian prep races that are ten times more entertaining than Beijing, plus have their history and big crowds coming to cheer on the riders every year.

Absolutely agree about changing the date, great shame. An illustration of the sport's inability to market its assets.

Zaugg! That's a surprise, I'd probably have tipped three-quarters of the field before I got to him. Makes a change, though.

He timed it perfectly. Looked like a lot of guys didn't have the legs today except maybe Nibali, who attacked too early.

It seems like a fitting end to the season. We've had a few surprises like Cobo, Van Summeren, and Nuyens.

First time I've watched this race, and I have to say that the Lombardia region may be the prettiest place in the world to hold a race. Just fantastic scenery!

Loved the move by Nebali, but agreed, he made it way to early. Disappointed in Basso alittle, I was hoping he would have gone with Zaugg and made a race of it. Were there any Americans in this race?

Not very many. Peter Stetina was the highest-placed guy from the US in 14th.

Pretty good actually!

I wish the broadcast had mentioned him or kept track of him abit since he was so high-up the finish order...
