Nice ride today with a great finish!
Simon Gerrans came onto Valverde really hard, but lost by a half a wheel. Nice effort by the Aussie, again, because he apparently made the same move on Valverde in this seasons Tour Down Under and lost the same way. Tough break. But Valverde looked strong today.
Not to much change in the GC. Phinney faltered today, but he did alot of work yesterday.
No sign of Basso, Frank Schleck, or Hushovd near the top.
General classification after stage 3
