televised women's races?

sorry if this has been hashed over recently, but a search turned up nothing.

I would like to watch women's pro cycling. willing to pay for it. love watching latecomers like Evie tear up the field (as a latecomer myself).

can't find anything on Versus/NBC, and from what I can see Cycling.tv has very little. i read something about 'UCI doesn't film the races'.

is it simply the case that these races are not televised? i could certainly believe it if so given the smaller audience, but i thought I'd ask to make sure I wasn't missing something.

thanks

Are you talking about American races or European races? In America, most pro races (mens and womens) are not televised. Not enough interest among sponsors and broadcasters.

Either or. Would have loved to see Evie's triumph at Flech Wallone for example

ok, here's the best source I've found so far:

no full-length coverage :-( but some fairly decent recaps, more than the 10-second blips on Versus

Local coverage , like on Belgian TV, probably means going to a Pub there.

Somewhat uncharacteristically, NBC sports did include a short recap of the Womens FW race during coverage of the Mens event. Universal sports covered many of the Womens world cup Cyclocross races this past season.
