If the races are not UCI he can do what ever he wants I think. A bunch of non UCI stuff moving around in a matter of fact easily another organization can use him to just creates another cycling and Triat org out of uci once and for all???

Not true, there are important middle men. The triathlon he dropped out of was not UCI. It has to do with the organization abiding by the USADA suspicion or ban list, which he is now on, +/- the WADA version, which has yet to receive and accept all the referral info from USADA. In theory, the UCI recognizes those; in practice, we'll have to wait and see where this one goes and, at a minimum, it needs to flow from one body to another which the UCI is on record in the media as saying, basically, "we'll wait until we get the referral."

I have no comment on the did he or didn't he, particularly given that the evidence has not been presented in the media. I do find that there are some significant arguments regarding process and jurisdiction here that should make for a continuing saga. It will be interesting to see what comes out in public as Bruyneel goes ahead to arbitration.

Good for Lance. I'm all for him following his cycling passion. It's a shame that many cycling and triathlon events will be closed to him.

He should just ride onto events. Turn it into some kind of prank.. "Oh there is a Lance again, he attempted to register, but then when denied hid in a local Denny's until race time and came flying out of the front door to join the peloton."

I think I read that Cipollini pulled that prank at least once since he retired.

And Floyd Landis finished a few minutes ahead of me at l'Etape du California this year. Does that mean he's innocent too?

I think that means that it really has very little to do with the OP topic as he doesn't discuss whether Lance it guilty or not, only that Lance Armstrong is still showing his face and not hiding away until this blows over.

'Winning at any cost', has it's cost, but at least they don't make him give back
the prize purse funds he already spent,
but I expect he was going thru a chunk of that, in Lawyering Up.

We will see if Trek starts saying "Lance Who?"

I imagine the prize funds he won are nothing even close to the sponserships and endorsements that he had or has.

I imagine there may be some growth of "Livestrong sanctioned" marathons, tris, bike rides, etc just to thumb his nose at them.

They'll probably be a doping free-for-all too.
