Tour of Beijing 2012

I started a Paris Tours thread, but the 50 USADA discussions meant it never got a look.
Always seems the dirty side of life sucks the attention.
Anyway, back to racing.

I catch the highlights of Beijing through www.cyclingfans.com
Amazed at the perfect roads they get to race on.

And T Martin's ability to take out the GC, without having a TT.

By chance I discovered that stages 4 and 5 are televised here in Canada on Sportsnet. I recorded it and watched stage 4 this morning. Phil Ligett is the announcer, without Paul Sherwin. Phil was not supplied much information and had to guess at the gaps, so much of the excitement was lost. He said it was live but I think it was 24 hours delayed on Sportsnet.

Interesting that Andy Schleck is last as he tries to get back in shape. He didn't like the camera being on him while he was behind the peloton. Going to record stage 5 tonight.
