    NBC Sports Cycling Schedule

Does anyone have a link to the NBC Sports (old Versus) schedule cycling over the next few months? I googled it, but came up blank.

    Chief,

Did you ever get info on this? NBC had 30 minutes (really about 17) for the TDU, and nothing for Qatar or Oman now. Bummer! I cannot find anything anywhere for 2013.

IIRC, during the TDU coverage they said their next coverage would be Paris-Nice in early March

Yes, march 3rd (Sunday) although their coverage is short (30 mins) its very well done. Wish they would do more races.

Anybody out there know anything about the NBC schedule for 2013? Last year was great, with several hours per race. This year it look likes 1/2 hour, and only for some. San Luis, Qatar and Oman were all absent. Major Bummer.

I happened to hit the end of that coverage and I'm absolutely positive they did have something coming up. I'm betting yuo have it right as to just what.

I have just heard that Comcast has just bought the network so that may be why the schedule is so up in the air.

Geez, can these "networks" (I use the term lightly!) remain stable for more than one lousy year!?

These changes keep coming so fast it's becoming almost comical. I still don't have Universal Sports Network since their demise, so I've missed out on the Giro, Veulta and other one day classics, and now we could be facing yet another change to the only remaining network providing cycling coverage? What a crock cable TV has become, full of promises that rarely, if ever, deliver!

Cmon fella's, how about we all buck-up a couple of hundred dollars and create our own cable "network"? I mean, how hard can it be?

and NBC Sports is broadcasting Formula 1 this year and it looks like 2 races will conflict with TdF coverage so one event will have to be at least partially delayed

Yeah, I was sick when I heard that Speed lost F1 to NBC Sports. Speeds coverage of F1 was legendary, and I doubt very much that NBC can improve on that and that it will devote nearly as much to the sport as Speed did.

I hate to ask, but are we sure NBC Sports Network is even covering the whole TDF?

I guess that is the way to go, but that site is so full of info and poorly laid out, I find it really confusing!

I'm going to have to figure out how to navigate it...

+1 for Steephhill's on-line coverage. Plenty of choices on which feed to use, usually.

However, some of us prefer to watch broadcast quality video on TV while sitting on the couch to poor quality, low res, video on a computer, phone, or tablet screen. YMMV.

It looks like the weekend broadcasts of the TdF are on NBC proper leaving NBCSP to do F1 so we can watch both

Cycling schedule link posted above. F1 sched at http://scores.nbcsports.msnbc.com/na...p?series=FORM1

Wow, lousy coverage. Paris Roubaix on a Thursday morning! no Ronde Van Vlaanderen, no Amstel Gold, Fleche Wallonne & Liege Bastogne Liege on the same evening for only 1 hour of coverage each.

Yeah, and then we have the Criterium International at 1AM, the Fleche Leon at 10:30 PM, and the Liege-Bastogne-Liege at 11:30 PM. Wow, it looks like cycling is right up there now with darts and poker!

    Hope they have re-runs...

UniversalSports is the other player in cycling, and they cover the Giro and Veulta, but of course, many of our wonderful cable companies have dropped them, so good luck finding those races...
