I think the following is true not only for Ullrich, but for Lance and all the others to -

However, he continues to deny cheating, saying he was only keeping pace with his peers and still believes his successes were as much down to pure talent and hard work.

"Nearly everybody took performance-enhancing substances at the time. I took nothing that the others did not also take," Ullrich told the German news magazine.

To the extent there's any news here, it's Ullrich's assertion that the UCI protected Armstrong. Doesn't sound like he's got any proof of that though.

Did he say that the UCI protected him?
I thought he said he suspected it to be the case.
I did find it funny that he said he knew Armstrong wouldn't get away with it.
