Michelob Ultra Pain in the Arse

One day in and I'm already sick of the "one part debonair," one part a-hole dude. Gonna be a long three weeks.

“You’re a complicated diverse creature. A fine mix of debonair and… adrenaline.
Battle scars and smooth jokes…”

Really, who writes this crap? I cannot identify with it, and I cannot imagine any people who see the commercial and say "hey I wanna be just like him". I cringe when these commercials come on.

The commercial should say "Michelob Ultra... Just add vinegar and strive to be your true d@uchebag"

Don't corporations put commercials past test groups before airing them?

"Michelob Ultra drinkers rate high in superiority; that is, they think highly of themselves and can be a little bit conceited. They care what other people think about them and want to appear perfect. They also tend to be take-charge types with strong opinions, and can even be confrontational."

Where have I heard of that stereotype before... oh yeah, cyclists. Guess they got their market down then, eh?

Um, I'd rather watch anything else other than that STUPID FARKING MY CLEAN PC GUY SAYING YOU KNOW IMMEDIATELY WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED.

DVR helps...

In prior years, these commercials prominently featured Lance. No sign of him this year - no surprise I guess. Now we have some generic amateur a-hole instead of a professional a-hole.

The SAAB commercials were sheer torture to watch over and over and over.

The SAAB commercials were thankfully broken up by the Enzite commercials.

Agree with OP. Spare me the empty praise, I'm not your target. I don't drink beer. But I'm equally unlikely to buy any other sponsor's product. DVR and FF 》》through the crap.

EDIT: Sorry. I misspoke. I will buy RoadID.

Another mass repeater -

To build yourself up, first you got to brake yourself down, bring it out, get empty, and get ready to do it again the next day.

Dat's (yes, Hines say's Dat's!!!) why I refuel with chocolate milk.

Really? Nobody corrected him? Or is that the way they wanted it? Dat's. Good grief, no wonder we're slipping under the waves...

If the well spoken Hines Ward and that unshaven, yet debonair dude from Michelob Ultra get royalties, they are going to be rich by the end of this thing!

Totally agree the Michelob Ultra commercial sucks. It would be funny if the actor is a BF member. Perhaps he'll chime in?

That said, I am grateful that a name sponsor is supporting professional cycling on TV. If Michelob wasn't footing part of the bill we might not be seeing as much of the TdF. Compare the caliber of NBC Sports advertisers between pro cycling and the NHL. Aside from Michelob and a few others, the cycling adverts are schlocky stuff like FixMyPC and spray on gutter sealant.

That stuff isn't even beer! One time brought an 18 pack home and when I got home, realized I bought Miller 64. I didn't want to ride two miles back to change it, so drank some. It's literally half beer half water and half the alcohol too! Whisky helped through that case.

Nothing for people who drink real beers that are not craft beers.
