Live Stream Technical Questions
The live streams weren't quite as good today: a lot of pauses (little progress animated icon appears) and crashes (stream stops and an error message appears).
Here are two questions:
1. These things are live, but when there's a pause of, say 15 seconds, nothing is lost. That is, there isn't a jump in the video or the commentary. So I guess that as the stream continues, the stream gets further and further behind the live action. Right?
2. It seems that as you get closer to the finish, there are more and more pauses. I'm figuring that this is the result of more and more people tuning in towards the end. Same was true last year as the final stages were approached. Do you think that that is the cause?
