What computer do riders use

They were showing Chris Froomes TT bike yesterday morning, and I was struck by how big and boxy the computer looked. I've also noticed other riders with a more boxed shape ( it almost looks like some type of prototype that doesn't have the final packaging design yet). With so much focus on weight and aerodynamics, this seems odd to me. What type of computer are they using, and why?

I know the Garmin team uses the Garmin Edge and Sky I think uses the SRM Powercontrol 7 or at least they did in 2012..... The SRM Powercontrol 7 is one very expensive cycling computer.

Thanks, the SRM was what I was seeing, and yes, that is a pricy piece of equipment, but it still looks more "boxy" to me than it needs to be.

I wish we could get telemetry data from the riders. It would be nice to see real time power data. Seems there is a rule against it though.

I think Sky has real time data fed to a data center that in turn provides the DS real time analytic data in the car, that is used to communicate with the riders via voice or computer, all over encrypted channels. The Sky riders spend an awful lot of time looking at those computers, so whatever they are it must telling them something very important.
