After the interview with Jens Voight yesterday, did anyone else hear the announcer say that he loves the outdoors and has six kids and would fit right in as anyones neighbor in Utah?

I chuckled.

Uh Oh

Much of Garmin Sharp getting dropped on the climb today. Peter Stetina and Lachlan Morton are alone in the front group. BMC still looks good so far for today.

Well I had to go ride and missed the end of stage 5 today. Lots of Radioshack power at the front when I left so no surprise Horner won the stage and leads the race. But Danielson of Garmin Sharp shares his ET in the GC. I missed a lot at the end. Danielson wasn't even in the front group when I left.

Stage 6 starts in my town. It appears there is a sprint finish in our downtown. Now I'm really torn, what do I do, hang around the start and maybe get some autographs, or go down to the sprint finish and watch Sagan do his thing? No way I can do both, sprint finish is only a few miles from the start. Argh.

It looks like the start is NE of Loveland and the finish is in Ft Collins. http://www.usaprocyclingchallenge.co...s/2013/stage-6 The racers, although fast, will still take hours to race the 115 mile course. You can certainly travel the 15 miles to the end before they get there, either driving or by bike.

I'm talking about this map which shows what I'm assuming is an intermediate sprint point which on this map is called "sprint finish". This is only a few miles from the start

Now I see an S on the main map in Windsor, and another in Estes Park. I would think autographs at the start line would be more likely to be satisfying. The sprint could be contested by just a couple riders from continental teams if there's an early break.

Here's a guy who shows up in North America to compete. Looks like he starts this one with his first leader's jersey.

Sagan wins prologue at 2013 Tour of Alberta
