Incroyable! the final stage and Presentation

Watching the final stage and seeing both the peloton and the sights of Versailles and Paris from the helicopter shots and then the side and overhead views of peloton, WOW! just fabulous!

Then the Presentations
I'm wasn't really overwhelmed by any of the Olympic ceremonies over the last decade or so (except the bit with the queen 'doing' the parachute jump with James Bond was very fun and unexpected... )
But the lighting of Paris, the Champs AND the effects on the Arc WERE Incroyable! Fantastic!
I was blown away!
Big Kudos for the TDF, Paris and France for the most memorable tour in many a year!

was not to be missed

Yeah, I thought the dubstep was kind of funny for the TDF finale, but I also enjoyed the show very much.

that dubstep has encroached so much into popular media (tv ads, shows, movies, classic sporting events) signal that we're just all too old and out of touch

dubstep, sadly, is no longer fringe

Any idea where I can see a recording of the sprint laps (last 20m) and the ceremony afterwards? On HD preferably

There is a TdF recap coming this Sunday 7/28, on NBC, NOT NBC Sports, 12:30pm EASTERN. It's 2-3 hours IIRC so hopefully has the climax of each stage. I set our DVR to record is as I'm going to erase the stages and want to keep it and burn copies for friends who don't have cable/satellite.

I'm gonna record this also, but my guess is it'll be a big disappointment for a real racing fan. There's just no way you can get the entire TDF flavor in the 2.5 - 3 hrs, especially when you load in commericals.
I felt bad having to dump the Pyrenean stages, and only have the rest day recaps for the first 2 wks. But I'm gonna keep the Alpen stages and the finale and hope to find a way to get them off my Directv dvr... somehow.
