Nice! I knew it was just a matter of time before he put that natural talent to use.

2 wins at Tour de Wallonie for Van Avermaet and now 3 here and counting, seems like BMC sent the wrong riders to the Tour...

I was also surprised Mathias Frank didn't make their Tour squad. He was Van Garderen's strongest support at the ToC, beat him at the Tour de Suisse and also had a couple of early season wins.

True. Frank was clearlystronger than Van Garderen at the Tour de Suisse.

The team just baffles me, not sure if it a clash ofpersonalities, lack of leadership or what but they seem to underachieve a lotor to at least have a direction and plan. They seem to tinker with things that are working and then the resultssuffer. Not shocking their sportingdirector left after the Tour.

This is getting to be an interesting finish to the GC race too. Christophe Riblon (2nd stage winner) of AG2R-La Mondiale has taken the lead by just 19 seconds. If he can hold onto this he can add it to his Stage 18 TDF win this year.

    I don't understand that team.
