It's on Universal Sports Network. Unfortunately, my provider (Comcast) doesn't have it. There are usually ways to get to it online, but they often require installing something on the computer which I'm loathe to do.

ITV4 here on all providers, freesat/sky/freeviwe/virgenmedia its on all the providers here in the UK, so many you could go on itv4 website and watch it, although KT will be orientated to the UK and cover it from a UK style, such as foucus on the UK riders but many it might be fun to watch from a different perspedtive

Thanks, Mark. USN is Channel 625 on DirecTV... which I don't currently get. Maybe it's available a la carte.

USN is part of a package. If you're a DirecTV customer try calling them and seeing about adding it. They often do 'specials' where you could get that package very cheaply for the first few months, and can drop it afterwards, IIRC.

USN is only standard definition though, which (to me) really suffers by comparison to HD. And from watching some of the Vuelta last year, the actual TV work is not up to the standards of the Tour: fewer cameras, etc. It's certainly shot HD though, so it could be broadcast that way, it just isn't.

Ok i realise this is an older thread but i dont want to get *****ed at for making a new thread/not searching.

So ive been watching the TDF since 2010 and ive never been able to watch the giro/vuelta due to it not being part of my digital cable package....

So my question is is there a website that i can watch the vuelta on like each complete stage? And another ? Do phil and paul cover it also?

Have you checked to see if you get USN now?

I didn't get it last year either, but I do now and it is in HD. My provider is Time Warner.

I believe Phil and Paul do the call, which I'm happy about. They are the voice of cycling for me...

steephill.tv if you don't mind browser streaming. I watched the spring classics and Giro that way this year and it was decent enough for me. Just keep a clean browser with ad blocker, etc on full strength.

When I switched to UVerse earlier this year, I began getting the BEIN Sports channel. It's a Euro Sports channel- cycling & soccer mostly, it appears. Watched the Giro and the Tour de Suisse on it, and I believe they'll carry the Vuelta, too.

FWIW, I believe DISH Network carries BEIN now, too.
