2014 TdF route is up.
So there will be cobbles and lots of mountain top finishes as well as two stages in Yorkshire. For anyone from Yorkshire the most bizarre thing is seeing Blubberhouses described as the "Cote de Blubberhouses" on the TdF website "Profile".
Looking forward to the cobbles on stage 5 and the stage 18 Pau to Hautacam via Col du Tourmalet.
No TTT and only one ITT of 54 kms. (stage 20). No coastal stages. Lot different from 2013.
stage 10 looks like a barnburner. happy the izoard is in there and there is less dependency on tt's
to allow for more racing. wish they hadn't bypassed the massif central-again but at least we got
the vosges which are pretty and usually create animated stages.
Another route ideally suited for 2013's podium finishers.
Not so good for Wiggo.
Pretty stoked to have two stages roll through my backyard :).
I remember them going over the Col Du Sally Gap in Wicklow in '98.

I've applied to volunteer as a marshall. Without support they can't run it! Helps me too, I don't have to decide whether to go watch or where from, just go where they put me and just sort of hope I see at least a bit of racing at some point
Cant' wait to see Cav vs Kittel
Quintanna vs Froome
Phinney vs Martin
