So I guess today's results change a few things.

So far, my only fantasy league regrets for X Merckx the Spot are Gerrans being taken out by Cav, and me not knowing enough to pick Coquard who looks like he'll bring a lot of return for a 6 point Unclass rider. However, I am confident more regrets will emerge as the race plays out. For now, the race is still young and all you Kittel holders lording it up at the moment will have your time out the back soon. Ha ha!

Thinking of all of you who throw in the towel today, if you hadn't already after stage 1. I've been there!

Losing Froome may be a crushing blow to my team. I wish I had followed my instincts and picked someone else when I was considering his crash in the Dauphine. Nibali is having an epic performance. Talansky is really going to have to step it up for me in he mountains for me to have any chance.

At least Lars Boom won a stage like I was hoping he would.

Why is everyone beating on my boy Gerrans? Pesky Talansky, cost me a few points. If you ask me, it was him that slewed left, not Gerrans coming right. Watch Gerrans relative to the white stripe down the road, he stays steady on until after Talansky has contacted him and only comes into the draft to his right after he's "clear" of Talansky. I hope Talansky watches the video and recants his statement that was relayed to the press, perhaps a little cavalierly, by JV immediately post race.

Looking through the BF league, it's interesting how few chose Nibali.

Boom! Liking my chances at the moment for fantasy league I would love to see Nibali win this thing. It is a bummer that contador and froome are out though.

In which case my ship would be sunk. I hope it is yours! Either way, someone is going in the drink!

My Fantasy hopes are well gone now. Spin to Win Featuring Cavendish, Contador, and Cancellara... That leaves Talansky, Fuglsang, Pinot, Tony Martin, Burghardt, and Voeckler. Good game all maybe next year.

Nibali is looking damn good at this point. Wish I had him but I just could not use him after having him in last year's Vuelta and watching Horner best him. Guess he has improved!! He looks like Froome did last year and has less competition now. Good Pick!!

Nibali has looked like trash all year. I hate to point fingers, but it's very Postalish. Crappy season, and amazing all of the sudden for the Tour. I think Contador still looked the best, it's a shame he's out.

With half my team out, I'm relying on Rui Costa and Thibaut Pinot to have an amazing time in the mountains. I've been hanging out in about 12th for a while now. Hoping to maybe squeeze through for a top 10. Almost definitely won't be on the podium though this year.

^nibbles has had some great placings over the last few years but he has been dominating this tdf even when froome and contador were still there.
not as obvious a gap in talent as there was with basso in the 2006(?) giro when simoni called him "extraterrestrial" but still...
nibali can still have un jour sans like porte did today...still a few decisive stages left.

as for my team, had 3 glorious days in 1st place early on thanks to kittel and sagan and it's been a slow, inexorable slide back to the 2nd division where
    i usually reside.
i'd rather be alive wrong than dead right

Speaking of coming out of nowhere given the past few tours, I don't know whose blood is in my bag, but it is working. For now. Still plenty of race left. Fingers crossed.

X Merckx the KOM and a healthy Nibali-esque victory margin in the main race, despite a late shock from the appearance of the Donkey team briefly in the lead out of nowhere -- were they a late add to the league in stage 18 or so?

Oh well, time for some class, perhaps a little bubbly and some good Spanish beef in celebration, and see you all at the Vuelta. I hope it is as entertaining a race as le Tour was.

After dwelling 3 from the bottom for most of the tour, Tony Martin came through and moved me up a spot or two. Martin was my "biggest bang for the buck" rider, getting me 411 points at a cost of 8. Lieuwe Westra was my next productive with 330 points at a cost of 8. For the Vuelta, I'll try to choose my head instead of my heart. Schleck did okay for my but Horner was a error in judgment for sure.

my ranking was 13 pre race and I foolishly did not pick Sagan, picked Rolland as my climber, thought Chavenal would launch an attack being on a small team lost Spartacus and the ******. I floundered in the mid 20's Last couple of days moved up allot and finished at 14. Tejay and Pinot were my stars and Kittel also was a solid pick

I can't climb and do not sprint well so I over compensate with bad form and lack of endurance
