I think it will be between Froome and Contador and they are evenly matched this season. Got to give the edge to Froome because Contador could keep up with him but not pass at the Dauphine. On the other hand, Contador has an ability to strike at surprising times.
I like Talansky but he is not quite ready. I like Teejay but he is not performing this season. I like Valverde and Nibali but neither seem to be quite as good as Froome and Contador. Quintana might be as good but he is being saved for the Vuelta.

from what i've seen froome and contador are very close. i think it might come down to who has the best team support.

I think the course favors Contador, and he also seems to be in the best form. But wouldn't count out Nibali, or even Rodríguez in spite of the recent injuries.

I am for underdog, and I am not a fan of Contador or Froome. Talinsky. Hoping Ryder makes a good show too.

I'm kind of disapointed that Cadel / Nairo aren't riding; Teejay doesn't have what it takes to be the leader of BMC from what I've seen over the last few years. I like watching Niaro climb too. My gut feeling is that sky will hand Froome the victory, as much as I dislike him over Wiggins. I'm rooting for the whole Trek Factory team. It seems like its full of the "old" guys, but they should mesh well - both Shleck brothers along with Jens and Cancellara, should be fun to watch.

I can't see anyone beating him out for it in this Tour. What is the record for most green jersey's anyway? I have to think that Sagan can go on winning them for at least a few more years.
Anyone think Cav will wear yellow today, or will Kittel, Greipel, or some other new sprinting phenom spoil that party? I'm going with Kittel today, he is an animal and I think he scares Cav the most.
I'm going out on a limb and saying Talansky for the win, followed by Contador and Nibali. I think Team Sky has had their day...

Hesjedal isn't riding the Tour, being saved for the Vuelta. I don't think he would have been a GC contender but he would have been a great super-domestique for Talansky. Anybody know whether Dan Martin has recovered? He isn't in the Tour either.

It looked as though Cav was trying to push his way through a slowing rider to me. Nothing wrong with that, it just didn't work for him this time.

Also looked like the road curved so Cav was kinda going straight through it more than he knew. landed on his head pretty hard and collarbone didn't look too happy either.

Cancellara blew that finish up when he broke free with about 1k to go. Love that guy! Trek riders certainly showed well today for a bunch of old timers eh?

They were just trying to keep Froome in contention. I suspect they were helped out by the crash, and that Froome weaved through some slowing riders.
