That appears to be the plan.

Unzué also confirmed that both Valverde and Quintana would also race the Vuelta a España (August 23-September 14) before the world road cycling championships in Ponferrada, Spain.“Alejandro and Nairo will both lead at the Vuelta, without pressure, but with ambitions of going well,” Unzué said. “We can be very pleased with this Giro victory. It sets him up well for the future, and will allow him to have the experience of winning a grand tour going into the Tour next year.”

Sorry for the thread hijack.
I can relate. The same thing basically made me stop racing. I'm not gonna take supplements every 15 minutes during a race.

How do you know what they were taking? Did you ask, go look in their bag?

Some, like me use Endurolytes, from Hammer. It is to supplement electrolyte loss. Means I can drink water instead of an electrolyte drink.

Just because someone puts something in their mouth does not make them evil.

The supplements aren't as big of a deal.

Judging by what they (both men and women) wear, probably some sort of birth control pills.

The biggest dope in this years tour is Sir David John "Dave" Brailsford.

All the Epo in the world won't help Team Sky. Of course, what can anyone expect when the village dullard gets a job that he's not suited for.

Makes me wonder about all that Knighthood nonsense in England. They Knight people as often as Americans go through a Mcdonalds drivethru.

Brailsford should start writing out checks to pay back sponsors for this years embarassment. I mean cmon.. Tinkoff lost Contador and yet they've achieved repeated Stage wins and Team Sky has none. Of course, Tinkoff could have left one of their best riders home as Sky did with Wiggins to become more "competitive" but in the end they appreciate sponsorship and manage the team appropriately so to as provide the best exposure possible.

To stay on topic, I believe that Nibili isn't doping only because of the fact that his performance is moderate. If Nibili IS in fact doping, then everyone else is right along with him. What I don't want to believe is that doping as well as the science behind beating the tests will continue to evolve and become more prevalent in decades to come.

People blame Lance but "methods" of providing performance enhancing drugs to riders of the tour were around far before he entered the sport. Not just cycling, but ALL sports. The problem with Lance was he got greedy and his personality created conflicting opinions as well as doubt. He should have retired after his 3rd win.. maybe even second and went natural from there on. He continued on and is now known forever with the title "Disgraced Cyclist" and is the posterboy for performance enhancing drugs in professional sports nomatter what sport it is.

Nibili is clean..except for maybe a bunch of Jelly Bellies on a daily basis. Those are legal though.. they don't show up on the test.
