Rojas Expulsion

Wow, that was pretty crappy. 3 days prior to the end of the Tour and they decide to kick him rather than fine him. Seems a bit excessive. I saw guys getting pushes uphill from the team car without even handing off a bar or water bottles. Heck wasn't it Voeckler that pushed off the motorbike mast sticking up to give himself a boost? I just don't know what to think about this. Thoughts? Not trying to start an argument so please keep it civil.

Nibali pushed a motorbike away after he elbowed the chick with the phone. I don't think he was pushing off to give himself a boost. And I dare say hanging on a car for a good way is worse than getting a push. How many times have I seen spectators push a guy up a hill uninvited?

Majka grabbed the bar on the back of the motorcycle and gave himself a pull.

Rojas was for drafting his team car downhill, still boggled by that expulsion, honestly.

I heard they also expelled the team car, meaning that they are down to 1 for the remainder of the tour.

Car and rider must have ignored a warning. Rojas expulsion was announced on TV screen just before Nieve and Kadri reached the start of the Hautacam climb.

Seems unjust on the face of it so maybe it was a case of them ignoring a direct instruction from the RD.

Valverde taking pushes from his team car up the tourmalet (i think) after being gaped was pretty blatant. He was not passing anything back and forth but grabbing hands for a push nonetheless. Pretty weak display by movistar all around.

Well after reading that article and doing a little research. I now know a sticky bottle is. You see that all the time too.

Think you're mixing him up with Voeckler (Europcar). I only saw V and the Europcar do that. Valverde wasn't gapped on the Tourmalet he was in the peloton with a couple of team mates all the way up.

ok, it may have been Valverde during the stage the day before or maybe Voeckler.
