Cycling.TV streaming problems

Does anyone use cycling.tv for watching cycling races? I've been subscribing for a year now and, while really skimpy, I have enjoyed the races they have. Recently I couldn't watch the Tour of Wallone because the pay per view was blocked in my country ??? Now I wanted to watch the Arctic tour of Norway and got the same blocking. Anyone know what gives?

Last Summer Cycling.TV boasted how they showed all sorts of bike racing. Since then BeIn started showing races as well as Universal Sports network and NBC Sports, all on cable. Additionally I have VPN and watch Eurosports cycling on my computer. At $70 a year Cycling.TV is becoming pointless, especially since the cable networks are scooping up so many cycling events. Anyone having any luck with it?

Thanks

Rich, I assume you use a "pay" VPN to get Eurosport, right? A high-end bike shop in the NYC area does that too, but I wasn't sure how the subscription fee worked for Eurosport, since I believe their streaming offering is subscription.

As far as your original question, I've been too busy to watch much cycling.tv lately, but their calendar for the U.S. does indicate the Tour of Wallonie is available. The schedule is here: Race Schedule - Cycling.TV - The Online Digital Cycling Magazine

It's possible that if you're using a pay VPN to get content that's not normally available here, that is messing up your ability to stream things you should be able to get here.

I thought about that and shut off the VPN but it didn't make any difference. I've sent two emails without even an acknowledgement.

Yeah it sounds like your computer is still showing an out of the US IP address. Check your public ip by googling whats my ip to see if you are using one assigned by your ISP or the VPN.
