Is Norco Threshold A3 bike worth it?
hi,
I'm looking to get into cycling again after a minor accident a while back..
A fellow in my area is selling his Norco Threshold A3 2013 model for about 300 dollars (claiming it's tuned up and good)
seems like a good deal.
I'm mainly a road user, but where I live in road conditions are pretty bad (pot holes, random stones bits on the road cause I live near industrial zone, and long gravel trails)
so I don't worry about the 32c tires (it's sold as a cyclocross thus I'm in this section)
I'm more or less not sure about disc breaks, I have never used it and really don't have a personal comparison..
although if the bike is in good condition, it's seems like a good deal
Any thoughts? I'm just using it mainly as a commuter or for fun, nothing like "need for speed" or super awesome components..

It looks like a pretty good bike for $300. The Sora level components are entry-level, but they are what I'd expect to find for that price.
