Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

technically I have 56mm of front fork clearance on my Tricross...

however, with rim brakes open the brake pads are about 40mm apart - so any tire bigger would need a deflate and aggressive pulling to change wheels. Not ideal for tubeless!

I just got some lower profile pad holders and looks like I can squeeze another few mm of clearance. Still not enough to run 45mm or 29x18...

so thinking of going disc in front to avoid the rim brake clearance issue...

Was going to suggest the Niner RDO Cyclocross fork but I just realized it's not available for individual sale... you can only get it if you buy a complete frame. Bummer.

ENVE would be my choice if I was buying a standalone fork.
