Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Hi RacerX,

I was surprised to see a Kelly Disk Cross bike at a local cross race near me last year, same colours and everything as shown above. Looks like a great bike in the flesh

Must have been a pro team member? The only ones using the KnobbyCross Disc are the Kelly racers and maybe some Kelly people, I would guess.

I raced against a guy a couple of years ago who had a Kelly similar to that (minus the brakes). When we lined up I thought damn, this guy is going to smoke us. We lapped him and he was pulled.

Well the weird thing was, he wasn't even competing, just watching by the sidelines....

Maybe he was put off by the mud?

Ahhhh... so that is what that was. Seriously, though, his pop had bought him the bike ... he ended up coming and racing for us. It was a thing of envy considering that I did that race on a mountain bike. The guy who won that race bunny hopped every barrier, a real moral *******.
