Disc brake mount education
I'm going to change out my TRP Spyre mechanical brakes, not a fan. Based on some reviews I'm looking at either a quick change to TRP HY/RD (pretty cheap for a set on ebay) or full hydraulic change out to a Shimano RS505 kit.
My initial question is on mounting of the HY/RD calipers. I see TRP lists HY/RD Flat Mount and also just plain HY/RD. Then there's all the different adapter posts available.
Please correct me if I am wrong on the following. Based on the pix below of my current mech caliper mounting below, I have a Flat mount fork/frame and the calipers are post mount hence the U shape adaptors, correct?
If so, than I can pick up I can the "plain" HY/RD and mount on my existing adaptor posts. Or I can use the HY/RD Flat mount calipers and have to use the TRP FF-5 and FF-6 flat mount adapters on the bike fork/frame.
I just want to make sure I have this all correct before I go spending some (more) $. Thanks

Pics aren't showing. You're on the right line of thought though.
If the pics on Diamondback's site are correct for a 2017 Haanjo Carbon Comp, your frame and fork have flat-mounts. They have flat-to-post-mount adapters installed. The brakes are post-mount (which is fairly standard).
You could buy the standard brakes and use the installed adapters. OR you could buy the post-mount brakes and use no adapters... which would look a whole lot better.

you need to post those pics somewhere else, like flickr, or upload them here as an attachment. The forum you posted them on will not show them to anyone that isn't logged on.

Both of your calipers are post mount.
Front: what is that fork mounting standard? Looks like post mount to post mount? interesting.
Rear: Simply flat mount to post adapter.

Although not sure what you paid for those HY/RDs but rbp has RS505 levers with flat mount calipers (hydro) and rotors for ~180 with coupon which is a great deal. The RS505 levers are actually underappreciated and their shape resembles the new GRX in that the master cylinder is not a bulgy thing that sticks out.
Also fun fact, the RS505's have servo wave while the newer R7000 105's do not which I find odd.

You will love the Hy/Rds, but be very careful to install them exactly as the directions indicate. Be sure the caliper arm fully opens under no lever pull, otherwise the hydraulics in the caliper will not be able to auto adjust for pad wear. DO NOT take up slack with a bit of tension on the lever arm. I am convinced that if Shimano had invented the cable-hydraulic caliper first then we would all be using it instead of full hydros!
