Disc brakes and racing
At what point will having disc brakes disqualify you from racing?
I'm a total newb, so I'd be starting out (maybe staying) in the cellar.

When you start doing the UCI Elite races. But, I have heard that the Master categories are going to be held to the same restrictions when you do UCI races, sometime in 2007.

Unless you plan on turning pro, thus racing on the UCI World Circut, I would not worry about regulations against disc brakes. Your local races dont care what kind of brakes you run, just as long as you come out and have fun.
