Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Check out my new bike...

Check out my new bike...

Even though I don't post much here...I've gained so much knowledge from you guys and I just wanted to share some pics of my new bike:

I tried to go for the all black look.
-Crosscheck frame (60cm)
-105 9 speed group (black)
-Cane Creek brakes
-Ritchey comp stem
-salsa bell lap bar
-Brooks B17 champion special
-Mavic Open Pro's (black, 32 spokes), black spokes, black 105 hubs

what do you guys think?

That bike is absolutely gorgeous! What a great bike!

I am so glad you posted it because I was looking to get a cross check and was thinking about the color. Thats one of the few I have seen in the color black.

What's the difference with the Brooks B17 Champion Special? I'm shopping for my preferred brooks saddle right now. Thanks.

Man, that looks so much like my road bike its eerie - mine's a black Surly Pacer, [black] Ritchey Pro seatpost and stem, black Brooks B17N, lil' bit a silver on the rims... made me do a double-take.
Nice build!

Needs more T.R parts.....maybe a T.R SwissCross frame...
Kidding, they are pink and f'ugly.

Nice bike. And I liked the S.C.C bike I saw in town yesterday, looked solid.
