Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Advice for newbie?

Hi all,

Lifetime rugby player here , trying to break into the world of bikes. Friend suggested cyclocross... not sure what to expect. No past experience.

Where should I look for information? Subscribe to any sources?

What kind of bikes should I be looking at ?

The 200 or so threads on cyclocross from this year would give you some good info.

Maybe go to the Specialized website and have a look at their Tricross models, listed under freeride bikes. There's alot of other popular makes of course.
