Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

New Jersey, NYC, Hudson Valley Races?

I'll be living in Jersey City this fall. Where could I find info on races in New Jersey, NYC and the Hudson Valley. Yes, I know about Highland Park. Used to live in New Brunswick.

well...you can search northeast regions and mid atlantic regions on www.bikereg.com >> cyclocross.
there's a bunch of races in that area including one under the lights this friday at the NJ state fair in Augusta. http://www.skylandscycling.com/summercx/ IMHO, highland park is one of the least exciting races of the season. last year the course was totally flat and boring. there's also a big race on long island, and a decent series in upstate NY. check that out here: www.nycross.com. of course i would highly recommend going out to gloucester, ma if you can, as well as hitting some of the other races in CT. dont worry, you will have plenty of races to choose from.
