Any 'cross have adj. rear cable stops?
I'd like t design a 'cross bike and keep tha ability of varied rim width, from beefy (wtb dula dutu type) to razor road wheels.
Why do no manufacturers of 'cross bike frames have rear brake cable stops that are threaded for adjustable cable stop ends like on head tube of most road frames?
I know that the brake cables need to withstand greater forces, but why make jagwire-type spinner (1 at the top tube near head tube facing one way and another towards the back facing the other) that you could quickly adjust for rear brake fine-tune?
I have also seen the problem solvers (?) adjustable barrel that 'seats' iteself into a non-threaded cable stop via a washer-type thing with wings but can only imagine it'd rattle like mad...
