For those who race in New England, do you find it worth the decrease in stopping power to have the extra mud clearance offered by wider profile brakes? And just how poorly do they stop anyway? Sheldon Brown seems to think that they are awful. Lastly, the only affordable examples are the "Radius" brakes. Yes, Paul's are out... waaayyyy out. I can't seem to find much info on these (manufacturer, reviews, etc.). Is there anyone out there running these with some opinions on their performance?
