Cyclocross Build - Brakes

Hey Guys,

I feel like this is a dumb question. Anyhow I assumed that I could use standard cantilver brakes for my build. Which worked fine for the rear. However on the fork I have screw on bosses, but no slots/holes for the tensioning spring of the cantilever brake. What do I need to do to fix my problem? Thanks for the help guys.

Use one of the Canti type brakes that doesn't have an extended spring bit. The old Suntours were like that.

Paul's would be another option as they don't use that hole either...

Very pretty, I heard about these after the show. The issue I would have with these for CX is that point looks awful sharp for a rear canti. I think it would poke you in the back. I could sure see those on a Vanilla touring frame.
