Ritchey Break Away Cross?

Hi,

Im getting ready to do some travelling and I have my sights set on a Ritchey break away cross bike. Seems like the best option for a 'do-everything' bike and I haven't seen any reports that say the bike isn't race worthy. The few reviews I've found complain that the suitcase falls apart and the frame and wheels aren't sufficiently protected.

Can anyone who owns this bike share their travelling experience?

Thanks for your time,
Justin
