Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Info needed on A Kelly

I just found a used Kelly cross bike for sale, steel and looks pretty good.

Does anyone know anything about the Kelly cross bikes?

Thanks!

Chris Kelly built bikes for the last 10-15 years in the Sierra Foothills (Nevada City I think) until recently when his partner pulled out and forced him to close up shop. He was always big into CX racing and build great frames and forks. I would buy it if it were me.

I agree. I passed up a steal on a Kelly a couple years ago, and it is the current "Bike I Most Regret Not Purchasing".

kelly built bikes in oakland, ca for many years then moved his operations. in the bay area you see his bike around. his steel forks are very sought after...on ebay they get bid up to over 100 bucks.
