Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Well... manufacturers don't want to sell something that could easily get them sued out of existence. From what i've read, modern bicycle forks tend to be OVERbuilt for safety (at the expense of ride comfort).

Pro bikes don't count (Think George Hincapie) since they have to sign their lives away.

So your fork is safe enough. Just keep an eye on apparent superficial scratches, nicks, gouges. Any scratch that will catch your fingernail is serious enough to get a professional evaluation.

I currently ride a Bianchi Cross Concept, and I have ridden the bike over some nasty bumpy/rooty sections and my carbon fork has held up great. as i_r_beej said, a company wont sell a product unless it is tested tested and tested, especially a company like ritchey who has some incredible products.
