Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Even with all the wrecks in that clip there were some great displays of bike handling as well! As the pile of riders grew that corner became even tighter and more difficult to manuever. I rode over the winter on a course like that and went down on 2 of the 8 laps. It was not fun. Well . . . I guess it kind of was This is one of the reasons why cross is awesome!

I was standing next to the camera guy when that happened.
What you don't see is how hard it is raining/sleeting ( it started during the women's race)...and how big of a downhill is before that corner ( can you say pucker).
That shows how good those World Cup guys are

best argument ever for disk brakes in cyclocross

but that would also mean that noobs who cannot control canti's end up clogging the front
more often. crashing like that acts as a bozo filter

I'd be smashed into the barrier there as well...would try to run it
