KHS Cyclocross - anyone?
Anyone know anything about KHS softtail cyclocross bikes? As seen here:
https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/bik/517097294.html
I just haven't been able to find much info and am wondering if anyone has any info/opinions.

Looks like the old Proflex elastomer rear end, interesting concept that has never caught on, seems like KHS tried it for a few years.
Consumers tend to want all or nothing and it costs just as much to make a 3/4" travel suspension as 2"
must be an interesting ride.

If you can talk him down to 350, or 400 it would be a great deal. 450 seems fair, but not great.

I agree with SF, $350 seems about right. It would be a good bike for really long single track rides, like Iron Cross long. It looks like the frame will clear HUGE tires...Not sure, but it also looks like the cable routing is on the side of the top tube?? That would bug me. If you've got 350 - 400 to spare, it might be a fun experiment.

for the softtail: had it on a solo-one mtb and it was just about the right thing to get the lead out in the rear end. have always been itching to try a cross bike designed with it.

1. Why am I having such a problem finding this on their website?
2. Is the rear suspension legal for racing? (Not planning to, just curious.)
3. Same principal as that bike Klein came out with a few years ago?
