Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Chainring guard guy

A while ago someone posted a link to some guy's website where all he sold was inexpensive chainring guards. I can't find the link. Anyone know what I'm talking about that wants to link me up?

That guy (the poster, not the bashguard maker) was me. I didn't find Erin's website, but I did find his ebay seller profile, which is where I got my guards. Again, perfectly functional, and you get to support a little guy.

Bump to top.

Just met Erin the bashguard dude today and picked one up for my bike.

Great guy who is worthy of your support. The product is top notch and a super-bargain at $10.

If you are thinking of a guard, get on now before he realizes what these things are worth.

Unfortunately I still haven't received my shipment or received any sort of confirmation of shipment. I did however receive a prompt payment receipt notification. Go figure.

MIN -

Call him up or shoot him an email. All his contact info is on the site. He is a super guy and very customer oriented. He is a VERY small business and this may fall under the category of "stuff happens". I am confident that Erin will make everything good for you and that you will like the product.

Erin delivered another one to my work (we're in the same town.) He's a nice guy, as Dino mentioned, and it was an honest mistake.

Glad it worked out. I knew it would.

Looks nice. Same as mine, but without the pimpin' crankset.

Did you solve the clearance issue?

What do you think about a Sunday ride? Early. Forest Park. Maybe meet in Selwood.

Sorry Dino, I am preparing to move this weekend. Raincheck?

I got the Superlight BBG ring to fit where the FSA carbon ring did not because the BBG is only 1/16" thick vs 1/8" on the carbon.
