Bikes: A solid black, '87 (so i think) Specialized steel frame, fitted with horizontal drop outs and refurbished with a CK carbon (hehe. yup, it's still a steel frame) headset and PW bottom bracket. Nothing to much else to brag about. Kinda a project bike

Does anyone know if 27" cyclocross tires exist anywhere?

I know they did. I purchased a set a few years back to convert an old touring bike to a fireroad/dirtroad runner. They are something like 27 x 1.5. If you don't have a better response I'll be glad to dig them up and see who the made them.

I'm pretty sure Harris Cyclery has them. https://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/tires/630.html

i have some

i have a pair of 27x1-3/8 club roost cross-terra on my fixed gear. they're awesome tires and i love them. there is a smooth strip down the middle, convenient for the road, but the knobbing is still plenty aggressive for off road use. they were very effective in the snow last winter! lemme know if you want me to post a pic of the tread pattern
