Does anybody know of any colored cyclocross tires? My girlfriend wants some for her bike.

Tufo makes some, but they are rather pricey. Check www.biketiresdirect.com

in pink, no less, and with a tread pattern that's worked pretty well for me.

I would kill for a set of the old celeste green michilen Jets!!
If it looks like the $3000 bikes but costs less than a decent helmet, it probably isn't a wise investment.

What difference does it make? They'll just end up covered with mud anyway.

It may sound strange, but the green jets cornered better then the black ones do. Different rubber compound? Or maybe its all in my head.

Thanks guys! I think she will either go pink or blue to match her frame. And as for why do you need colored tires? Why not? Mud always comes off ... and they look pimp!
