Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Should I Buy a 2003 K2 Enemy...

for $400? Bike has 105 shifters, and Ultegra everywhere else. Never been ridden. Bike was free to current owner, but is too big for him. I know the Enemy frame alone runs about $330, so this is a pretty good deal, eh?

My current cross rig is a 21" Wheeler 9800 MTB with a rigid fork and Conti Cross tires.

Thanks for any input and further rationalization I can pass along to the family CFO.

I have a 2003 Enemy and I love it. It has served me well for two seasons of racing. $400 is a great deal especially since they retail for like $1000.

Thanks for the feedback, Ryan. Unfortunately you were right. It was a great deal, and I was too late getting back to the guy. He already sold the bike...doh!
