Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Cross bikes are the perfect urban tool

Now that I've grown up and I am riding big boys bikes with 700c wheels instead of 26" wheeled mountain bikes converted for road use I've come to realize just how awesome cross bikes are for city riding. I love not having to worry about the terrain, I can just tear it up with speed. Too much fun!!.

Good for you. It's great to see slow adults having such successes.

What are you riding? I always thought a cross bike was a 29'r with room to spread out on.
