Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

bike shoes for cyclocross - what kind?

What kind of shoes do cyclocross rids wear? Doesn't seem like the typical bike shoes the roadies wear that lock on your pedals would be ideal for this sport, since we're jumping off the bike, running, jumping, etc. Thanks!

You would definently want Mtn bike shoes if you're going with clipless pedals. I'd say you might want the two toe cleats as well if there are any hills to run up...
