Mystery vintage 'cross bike
I recently picked up a vintage cyclocross bike. It's alleged to be a Gitane, but has been repainted, so there are no decals of any kind on it. Can anybody recognize it, whether as a Gitane, or another make? I'm guessing it's a '91, based on the hi-wire cable routing.

It's sweet is what it is. I'd run shallower bars on it myself, but it looks like it would bomb.

Yeah, can't help, but I wish like hell that I had a bike like that to ride.
Any serial numbers on the BB shell or on the headtube? How is the bottom bracket threaded?
