Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Max. Tire Size for Aksiums

Anybody know if a 2006 Aksium rim will take a 35mm CX tire? If not, what's the largest? Thanks.

One of Kona's Jake bikes comes with 35's on some newer Aksiums which I assume have the same internal width as the 06 Aksiums.

Yes. I thought I had seen them spec'd on some production CX bikes. Just couldn't remember where. Thanks, all!
