    wheelset neuvations - smart idea?

I know - another neuvation thread.

Here is my q: I can get a set for cheap from there. and get the wheel protection program. This program offers free replacement of wheels - even in the event of a crash. I have confirmed a cross race crash is indeed covered.

So for sub $300 I can get a set of wheels I can race/train and not cry if I taco.

Ive heard of problems with the wheels and such over the years, but the idea of having a never ending wheelset for 2 years seems like a heck of a deal.

or am I off track in my logic?

When I was shopping for wheels recently I came across these:

    http://rd.unrealcycles.com/catalog/item200.htm

$150 and I've seen mention of them being used for cross. I ended up finding an insane deal on op/ultegra wheels for under $200 but when I was going back and forth and thinking of going as cheap as possible I had decided that between these "leos" and the neuvations I would go with the leos. There's not a lot out there about them but people who have bought them seem happy.

    Neuvations?

    Try these:

    http://www.performancebike.com/shop/...TOKEN=56052328

Same as Neuvation, but branded as Performance Titan wheelset. Identical wheelset, different stickers. I bought a pair last year as they were on sale for $129.00 out the door in Seattle, last year. Took them home, used my wife's hair dryer to peel the stickers off and wallah! no decals. I have been riding them since last year and used that wheelset in last years STP (Seattle to Portland) without any problems. AND they are reasonably light, claimed weight is 1500g for front and rear + or - 40 grams. Not bad for the price
    Whole lotta o' bikes
